Hello! My name is Monica Verner. I graduated from S.F.A. with a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies (Early Childhood-4th). I taught 1st grade for 11 years in a small East Texas town, Spring Hill. My husband's company transfered us to Lubbock, Texas in 2015, where I obtained my English Language Arts, Reading and Social Studies certification for 4th-8th. I taught 5th grade for only 1 year before moving to Aledo.  I recently completed the Master's program in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies at University of Arlington.  This will be my 4th year teaching at Walsh Elementary.  

I am married to Josh Verner.  He is a Service Land Manager for MorningStar Partners in Fort Worth.  I have one daughter, Madison.  She will be a Junior at Aledo High School.
