Welcome:

My name is Janie Hampton, and I teach English 3 and AP English Language & Composition.   I am a native Texan and attended The University of Texas, where I received a BA in English and a Secondary Education Teaching Certificate for both English and History.  I have taught in Houston as well as at an international school in Baku, Azerbaijan.  My family enjoys traveling, and we lived overseas for 15 years.  This is my eighth year in Aledo, and I'm excited about the school year 2021-2022.

Tutorials:

I am available during Flex most days, after school from 4:00 to 4:30 , and before school from 8:10-8:30.  Please let me know if you are coming by.

I want my students to have all the necessary supplies to achieve success and have fun in English!
