Welcome to our 2nd grade class! My name is Shara Hetherington, and I am so blessed to have the opportunity to get to know you and your child. I am looking forward to a great year. 

In 2001, I received my BBS degree from Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene, Texas, where I met my husband, Geoff. This summer, my husband and I celebrated 24 years of marriage. We have 3 amazing sons: Reid is a Senior at UNT, Riley is a Freshman at North Lake Junior College. and Reese is a Sophomore at Aledo High School. As a family, we enjoy attending Aledo football, baseball, and basketball games, going to Rangers games, as well as watching our boys play sports, and relaxing with family and friends.

I am beginning my 15th year of teaching. I taught Kindergarten in Odessa and PPCD in Keller until 2012 when I joined the McCall family. I have taught Special Education, Kindergarten, and 2nd grade!
