Mrs. Shannon Reynolds

Hello! My name is Shannon Reynolds. I am the School Counselor here at McCall. This is my 14th year on campus, which means I have been here since the beginning! This is my 27th year in education and my 21st as a School Counselor. I am thrilled to call Willow Park my home where I live with my husband and son who is currently away at college. The best way to contact me is through my email at sreynolds@aledoisd.org

All students participate in Classroom Guidance lessons with me approximately once each grading period. They also have the opportunity to participate in a fun Counseling Cafe group once each year where we eat lunch together and watch a fun character themed video. In addition to classroom and small group lessons, I am available to students on a one-on-one basis as needed to help them experience success in school in relation to positive friendships, self-esteem, problem solving, and more.

Mission Statement
The mission of the Aledo ISD Guidance & Counseling Department is to provide a comprehensive guidance and counseling program which fosters academic success, college and career preparation, and social and emotional development. Through effective communication, Aledo ISD school counselors will consult and collaborate with students, parents, teachers, and members of the community to advocate on behalf of all students.
