Hello! My name is Ms. St. John. I am so thrilled to be a part of the Walsh Elementary family! Although this is my first year with Aledo ISD, this is my eighth year in education. I have taught in Illinois, New York, and Texas. I have experience teaching both kindergarten and first grade which I believe has helped me to better prepare each of my kindergarten students.

Teaching kindergarten is truly my passion! I love getting to witness my students ‘light bulb’ moments and getting to nurture their love of learning! My classroom is a very structured, safe, and loving environment. I am a firm believer that positive student/ teacher relationships are fundamental to student success. I am here to support my students, create an engaging learning environment, and challenge each student to his or her best!

I am originally from Springfield, IL and completed my undergraduate education at CUNY Hunter College in New York, NY. I will be getting married to my wonderful fiancé later this year. Eric and I have two perfect pups, Mahi and Baloo, and soon your littles will hear all about them! As a family we love going hiking, getting out on the lake, and having game nights. However, whenever we have extended time off Eric and I love to pack up our pups and head back to the Midwest to see our families.
