About Me:

My name is Amanda Griffin and I teach English Language Arts at Aledo Middle School. I have pursued my passion of teaching around the country while traveling with my husband who is in the United States Marine Corps. 

I am a graduate of Grand Canyon University with a Masters degree in the Arts of Secondary Education. I recieved my Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of South Carolina and the University of Phoenix. I student taught and completed my first year of teaching in Pennsylvania where I taught 10th and 8th grade English. I completed my second year of teaching in Louisiana where I taught 6th grade English. I am excited to bring my diverse teaching experiences and knowledge to Aledo. 

In my free time, you will find me hiking, reading, or traveling with my husband and two german shepherds. I feel truly honored to be part of the Bearcat Nation.
