Mrs. Shannon Reynolds
Hello! My name is Shannon Reynolds. I am the School Counselor here at McCall and the Student Council Advisor. I am also an elected Board member for the Texas Association of Student Councils. This is my 14th year on campus, which means I have been here since the beginning! This is my 27th year in education and my 21st as a School Counselor. I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from UNT and taught Middle School Art for the 1st six years of my Education career. Then I went to Dallas Baptist University where I received my Masters in Education for School Counseling. I am thrilled to call Willow Park my home where I live with my husband of 30 years, my son who graduated from McMurry Univeristy this past May, as well as our Siberian Husky named Elle and our very overweight cat named Smalls. The best way to contact me is through my email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
All students participate in Classroom Guidance lessons approximately once per month. They also have the opportunity to participate in a fun Counseling Cafe group once each year where we eat lunch together and watch a fun character themed video. In addition to classroom and small group lessons, I am available to students on a one-on-one basis as needed to help them experience success in school in relation to positive friendships, self-esteem, problem solving, and more.
