    Registration for new-to-district Pre-K and Kindergarten students begins online April 28, 2020.

    KINDERGARTEN ONLINE REGISTRATION 

    Kindergarten students must be 5 years old on or before September 1, 2020.

    Step 1- Complete online registration beginning on April 28, 2020 and email your campus contact below to alert them that you have completed registration.
    Step 2- Upload the required documents which are listed on the registration flyer above.
    Step 3- If you are unable to upload the required documents online, you will be able to do this in person at our next registration event in August.  Details about the next registration event will be released at a later time.  Please go ahead and do the online registration as this information helps us plan for the upcoming year. 

    PRE-KINDERGARTEN ONLINE REGISTRATION 

    Pre-Kindergarten students must be 4 years old on or before September 1, 2020.

    Step 1- Complete online registration beginning on April 28, 2020 and email your campus contact below to alert them that you have completed registration.
    Step 2- Upload the required documents including the Pre-K Application. Required documents are listed on the registration flyer above.
    Step 3- If you are unable to upload the required documents online, you will be able to do this in person at our next registration event in August.  Details about the next registration event will be released at a later time.  
    Step 4- Pre-Kindergarten students must meet specific criteria to enroll.  The application is below followed by the specific eligibility criteria. You will be notified if your student is eligible to enroll.

    Pre-K Application (English and Spanish)

    Pre-K Eligibility Criteria

    • Be either unable to speak and comprehend the English language; or
    • Be from a family that is eligible to participate in the National School Lunch program for free or reduced lunches; or
    • Be homeless; or
    • Be the child of an active duty member of the United Sates Armed Forces, including the state military forces or a reserve component of the Armed Forces; who is ordered to active duty by proper authority; or
    • Be the child of a member of the United Sates Armed Forces, including the state military forces or a reserve component of the Armed Forces; who was injured or killed while serving on active duty; or
    • Is the child of a person eligible for the Star of Texas Award as:
      • A peace officer under Section 3106.002, Government Code; or
      • A firefighter under Section 3106.003, Government Code; or
      • An emergency medical first responder under Section 3106.004, Government Code

    To determine eligibility for students who do not speak and comprehend the English language, a home language survey and an oral proficiency instrument will be administered.
