Mr. Arthur Aven
Assistant Principal [11th grade]
This year is my 13th year in education and my third as an Assistant Principal at Aledo High School. I was a social studies teacher and coach in Arlington ISD before my move to AHS. I absolutely love being a Bearcat and being a part of this amazing community. I have a lovely wife at home, as well as a son who attends the Aledo Child Development Center. I am privileged to work in Aledo ISD and have the opportunity to serve our students and their families.

This is my 17th year in education and my 2nd year in AISD as an Assistant Principal. I'm a former math teacher, assistant principal and Dean of Instruction.I love working with students and believe that education is a key part of raising strong communities and individuals, and our collective future! When I'm not working, I love spending time with my 2 boys and husband, who all keep very busy playing lots of different sports.
