Aledo ISD pays an average teacher salary that is higher than that of the state according to the most recent Texas Academic Performance Report. Each year for the last nine years, Aledo ISD has provided a compensation increase to its staff. Below is the timeline; click on each year for expanded information.

22-23 - 4% raise for teachers and librarians; 4% of mid range for other staff plus targeted adjustments; $15 minimum per hour for nonexempt staff
In August 2022, AISD Trustees approved a compensation plan that included the following general pay increase:
- Teachers and Librarians – increase of $2,400 (4% GPI plan)
- 4% of pay range midpoint for other staff, plus targeted adjustments, whose salary is within their pay range, with a lesser percent of pay range midpoint for staff over their pay range maximum.
- $15 per hour minimum for nonexempt staff

In August 2021, AISD Trustees approved a compensation plan that included the following general pay increase:
- Teachers and Librarians – minimum increase of $2,400 (4% GPI plan)
- 4% of pay range midpoint for other staff, plus targeted adjustments, whose salary is within their pay range, with a lesser percent of pay range midpoint for staff over pay range maximum

20-21 - 2% raise for teachers and librarians; 2% of pay range midpoint for other staff plus targeted adjustments
In August 2020, AISD Trustees approved a compensation plan that included the following general pay increase:
- Teachers and Librarians – minimum increase of $1,200 (adjusted 2% GPI plan)
- 2% of pay range midpoint for other staff, plus targeted adjustments

19-20 - 6.5% for teachers, librarians and nurses with 1-5 years, 7% for those with 6+ years; 6% of pay range midpoint for clerical/paraprofessional and auxiliary; 5% of pay range midpoint for administrative/professional pay group, plus targeted adjustments
In August 2019, AISD Trustees approved a compensation plan that included the following general pay increase:
- Teachers, Librarians, & Nurses (RN) – increase of $3,700 (6.5%) for these staff with 1–5 completed years of experience and $3,950 (7%) for these staff with 6+completed years of experience
- 6% of pay range midpoint for Clerical/Paraprofessional and Auxiliary pay groups, plus targeted adjustments, 5% of pay range midpoint for Administrative/Professional pay group, plus targeted adjustments, for staff whose salary is within their pay range, with a lesser percent of pay range midpoint for staff over pay range maximum

18-19 - 3% for teachers, librarians and nurses; 3% of pay range midpoint plus targeted adjustments for other staff
In August 2018, AISD Trustees approved a compensation plan that included the following general pay increase:
- Teachers, Librarians, & Nurses (RN) – minimum increase of $1,700 (Model 4, 3% GPI plan plus adjustments)
- 3% of pay range midpoint, plus targeted adjustments, for other staff whose salary is within their pay range, with a lesser percent of pay range midpoint for staff over pay range maximum.

17-18 - 3% for teachers, librarians and nurses; 3% of pay range midpoint plus targeted adjustments for other staff
In August 2017, AISD Trustees approved a compensation plan that included the following general pay increase:
- Teachers, Librarians, & RNs – minimum increase of $1,650 (Model 3, adjusted 3% GPI plan)
- 3% of pay range midpoint for other staff whose salary is within their pay range, with a lesser percent of pay range midpoint for staff over pay range maximum.

16-17 - 1% of midpoint general increase plus targeted adjustments throughout all employee groups
In August 2016, AISD Trustees approved a compensation plan that included the following general pay increase:
- 1% of midpoint general pay incease based on the updated pay ranges/salary structures TASB presented at the April 18 board meeting
- Targeted adjustments throughout all employee groups

15-16 - 4% for teachers, librarians and nurses; 4% of pay range midpoint plus targeted adjustments for other staff
In August 2015, AISD Trustees approved a compensation plan that included the following general pay increase:
- Teacher, Librarians and RNs - minimum increase of $1,675 (modified 4% plan)
- 4% of midpoint for other staff whose salary is within their pay range and 2% of midpoint for staff over pay range maximum
