Hello! I am very excited to be joining the staff at Sturad Elementary this year as a Dyslexia teacher. This will be my fifteenth year in teaching. I have taught kindergarten, first grade, third grade, and Special Education. My teaching certifications are EC-4 ESL/GT and Special Education. I also am trained in the MTA dyslexia program. I am passionate about helping all children become life-long readers, and I feel privledged to work with such a creative, capable and intelligent group of students! 

Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family. I have two teenage children that both attend Aledo ISD and I have a wonderful husband.
