I am thrilled to be your student's Health Science teacher! My background is in Cardiology. I worked as an Exercise Physiologist for 5 years and decided to become a teacher in 2018. I have a BS in Kinesiology from Tarleton State University and am a Certified Cardiographic Technician. Additionally, I am a certified BLS instructor and hold an ACLS certification. I feel honored and extremely blessed to have started my career in education with Aledo ISD. I was nominated for the Marva Collins Beginning Teacher of the Year award in 2019 and still feel so undeserving. This district is filled with amazing teachers and administration who have made my transition seamless. We truly are a TEAM! My goal is for your student to enter graduation with the knowledge, skills, and passion for a career in the medical field. I'm ready for a great year, go Bearcats!
