Welcome!

I am beginning my 5th year at Aledo ISD and feel so blessed to teach the students of this amazing community! Our Health Science team is truly exceptional, and I'm proud to say that we have all been nominated for the Marva Collins Teaching Excellence award multiple times in the recent years. Prior to teaching at Aledo High School, I have worked as a Physical Therapist for 20 years. Most of my experience is in the acute-care hospital setting working with post-surgical, orthopedic, cardiac, traumatic brain injury, and stroke patients. I continue to work part-time in the healthcare field and will integrate my knowledge and experiences into the classroom. My goal for our AHS students is to make them aware of the many different career options that are available upon graduation and enter the work force with the knowledge, skills, and passion for a career in the medical field. My family and I were lucky to join the Aledo community about 8 years ago. My husband, Michael, works as a Physician Assistant at Lonestar Medical in Willow Park, and my three children attend school at McAnally, DNG, and AHS. We love being Bearcats and serving our community!
