My name is Mrs. Martinez and we are going to have fun while learning technology skills that you will be able to take with you to create, design, incorporate, and even teach others about the big world of digital media! I currently teach Digital Media, Graphic Design, Graphic Design 2 and Practicum of Graphic Design and I absolutely love my job as a teacher and enjoy the days that I get to spend with my students!
Career
This is my 7th year at Aledo ISD and my 20th year as a Texas educator. I've taught Career and Technology courses for 14 years, 4 years of Spanish 1 and 2, and served as the library lab paraprofessional for 2 years! I am SUPER passionate about teaching CTE skills that you can take into the real world and have some very exciting projects planned for us this year! My goal is to make learning fun by allowing you to create products over subjects/topics that are important to YOU, using the tools that we will learn in class and with the tools and skills that you will gradually build over the year. I am also the Student Council advisor, Varsity Cheer coach, and Business Professionals of America Advisor.
Family Life
I love fitness and teach group fitness classes at Texas Health Resources in Willow Park. I am passionate about working with people and helping them realize their goals and dreams, in various aspects of their lives!
