Mr. Kody Knight
Welcome to Aledo Agriscience. My name is Kody Knight, and this is my 7th year here at Aledo ISD as an Agriscience Teacher and FFA Advisor. I am from Breckenridge, TX (Go Bucks!!). I attended West Texas A&M University where I received a B.S. in Agribusiness and an M.S. in Animal Science. I am excited about teaching at Aledo High School and growing our Agriscience program. I primarily teach ag mechanics and welding courses, but I also assist with lamb and goat projects as well as coach the horse judging, livestock, and tractor tech teams. I strive to push students to achieve their goals not only in high school but beyond the walls of AHS. I love sharing my personal experiences, not only the highlights but the mistakes as well so that students can be better equipped for today's world. Hands-on learning is my motto. Temple Grandin said 'the more experiences you have the better you learn to cope because you have more data in your database. You must get out and DO things.' I am a doer so I push students to work hard and practice, practice, practice.
