Welcome to American Sign Language!

 This will be my fourth year teaching ASL and my Second year as an Aledo Bearcat! I am the ASL Club and Spirit of Aledo Sponsor.

I grew up in Austin, Texas in the middle of the Deaf community. I have been signing within the community since the age of three. I fell in love with ASL from a young age and decided in high school ASL would be my career path. I graduated from Lamar University in 2017 with a BA in American Sign Language. In college, I was the president of the spirit team End Zone Angels. I am elated to share my passion for football and team spirit with the community this year. 

I am a current Committee Member of the Texas ASL Educators Professional Development and Workshop. This convention's purpose is to equip ASL teachers across the state of Texas with new ideas, technology, and rigorous activities to improve students' language acquisition.
