My name is Emily Nichols and I am extremely excited to be a member of the Bearcat Faculty. Science, especially chemistry, has been my favorite subject since high school, and I love working with the wonderful students and faculty at Aledo High School as a Chemistry teacher.  I am beginning my sixth year teaching and truly believe that all students have the ability to learn. It is my responsibility to help them see the value of chemistry in their everyday life and future and get them excited about learning. 

I am a graduate of Shorter University in Rome, Georgia. I have a Bachelor Degree in Science Education. While at Shorter, I had the honor of being a Hawk Cheerleader on the co-ed squad that placed second at NAIA Nationals. I then switched sports and played tennis on the National NAIA Shorter Hawks Ladies Tennis Team.
